Fitter London was developed by Matt Whitmore and Keris Marsden, two personal trainers who were tired of treadmills, cross trainers and the same old class timetable. Having spent over ten years training themselves, they decided to bring some variety and innovation back to boring gym workouts.
So how has your training been this week? What did you achieve? What did you do differently from last week...anything? So many of us hit the gym; climb on the cross trainer for 45 minutes or grab a set of dumbells and push through the same workouts week in week out.
Getting back to the gym after the Xmas break always feels horrendous. Your gym kit feels tighter, you can’t stop recounting exactly how many “bad days” you had and your body behaves as if it’s never been asked to put one foot in the front of the other, every second on the treadmill feels like an age.
